Here's a few things you need to know. First of all, I've been roleplaying for years now and the whole asterisks thing is so yesterday for me. Third person past tense storybook format, folks, use it, live it, love it, it's non-negotiable. Once we've begun, if I'm online it doesn't necessarily mean I feel like playing. You won't always have to be the one to IM first as long as you give me that same courtesy. Please also don't take it personally if I turn you down a few times when you message me, it just means that I'm not up for a scene, not that I'm no longer interested. If I'm not feeling the pairing or the scene itself, I'll tell you and I expect the same courtesy. We can either terminate it there or try to come up with something else entirely. My scene replies vary in length from at the extreme a few paragraphs to three or four sentences. That entirely depends on the mood of the scene and how tired I am. I'm not a believer in injecting useless description to make a scene longer. It wastes time in many different ways. I will play out adult scenes but that's not all I want to play out. No violence, no 'water sports'. The same goes along with my male to female ratio. These days my males greatly outnumber my females played. Don't get me wrong, I love playing guys, but I also love getting to play the girl because newsflash, I am a girl. I do slash and I do femme as well as your run of the mill het, but this is not all I want to do. I am VERY picky when it comes to which pbs/celebs I will play and/or play against. People of myspace fame alone are not enough. Much like in mainstream celebrity communities, if I don't know who the celebrity is by name or at least recognize their face, I won't do it. Since I've recently graduated college, I won't play highschool age PB's. While I absolutely adore younger celebs such as the Michalka sisters or Danielle Panabaker, they are the exceptions to the rule. I prefer to do psls but if something is good and long lasting for us, I'll consider moving to a community. I also love love LOVE fandom psls and I'm flexible. If there's something you want that I haven't listed, run it by me!
On to the fun stuff: People with asterisks next to their names are who I feel comfortable playing. If there is a % sign, it means that I haven't played them much but I might be able to be persuaded with the right idea and/or pairing. Also, bear in mind that there are others that I have played, but this is who I'm in the mood for at the moment. For me, OFC means "Other Female Character as in "to be decided", same goes for OMC with "Other Male Character".
